Good Wok Restaurant in Middle Island

I ordered from this place tonight. They delivered to my house. As we are eating the food I noticed a roach in my fried rice. I contacted the place and they told me they would either replace my rice and deliver it again or refund my money for the fried rice only! No Thank you!!! I will not go back there. You figure they would clean up the place. since we were going through this pandemic. Definitely unsanitary!

Excellent Hand Rolled Sushi and Fusion Dishes. Truly a pearl of a restaurant in Middle Island. Next time, we'll dine in instead of takeout.

A nice sit-down style restaurant with Chinese, Japanese and other Asian selections. Food is good, portions are ample, and fairly priced.

This restaurant is so famous in this area. Food are super delicious! They are serving Chinese food and Japanese sushi. You should order early if you don’t want to wait long.

Food is good the only thing that was bad was the broccoli is was undercooked. I dont do the delivery service cause When they deliver it and tou tip them what they want they start yelling in Chinese. Hell you're only down the road I just didnt have a car that day. Not gonna tip you 10 dollars for a 3 minute ride.

I ordered Chinese food and sushi from this restaurant last weekend for my family while I visit them. The food price is fair! Most important is taste amazing!! Especially sushi the best!! We enjoyed. Definitely recommend it. By the way, feel bad that someone post cockroaches pictures for this restaurant. But the food we ordered are clean. We didn’t have any problems, so I believed they provide good food. Good luck for them!!

Don't eat here. I went there last Sunday 8/4/19. Brought it home and found something crunchy pulled it out of my mouth and it was a piece of glass. Dangerous place to eat. Won't go back again.

Great food, indoor dining

We found a huge mosquito in our rice last night. They cook with the back doors open and I'm assuming a mosquito flew on my food and they didnt notice it and it basically steamed to death on my rice. I took it back and they offered me store credit!! I said no I'll take the money back and they eventually gave me a refund.

Very Bad place food tasted like chemicals one day .wgen I returned it the owner came out yelling abd screaming a bunch of people came out and it looked like they were scared of her and all she did wad stare at food abd yell when they did look at me the got very nasty with me in there own language it was horrible the nice girl behind the counter said she would give me half of my money back even though I didnt eat any food after I tasted it . I finally said yes I will take half because these people treated me so badly as if I killed someone or i was lying. Horrible place... Ps. My dad once said he went there at closing time years ago before the renovations when you could see into the kitchen.. He saw little skulls skinned animals in sink being scrubbed looked like dogs I should have stopped goibg there then for good. Beware all.

Always had good experiences here, I take my girlfriend here every month for our anniversary since it was our first date and she really loved it. Everyone is always nice, bathrooms are always good/decent. My girlfriend is obsessed with the ribs and sesame chicken, I am obsessed with their cucumber rolls. Out of all the places we’ve been to, good wok is the only one that can always perfect their food. Super nice staff, clean place, love the fish, and it’s worth the long drive I have to make.

Have been customers for 4 years. Food is always hot and good. When you call for take out they are always talking over you and never listen to the order. Only thing that annoys me.

Some of the best Chinese food I have ever had, went in and got 2 sesame chicken combos with an extra eggroll. It came out to 22.30$ and took about 7-8 minutes. Will go to again and I do recommend!

Today was my first time there and ordered vegetable lo mein. It had 3 matchstick size carrots and the same amount of celery!! That was it on the veggie! A good Chinese restaurant wouldn't even put celery in it!! It was very bland!! Will be my last!!

Has Japanese food that's pretty authentic. A little overpriced and portions are usual more broccoli than chicken. Other very good food

Food is okay. Not the best either for the youngGirl at the counter could have an attitude every time I go get my food. I thought it was me but my wifeAnd daughter feel the same way.I’m done with this place that girl that helps in the front needs an attitude adjustment or be put back in the kitchen.

The best Chinese food in the area. I eat here most of the time. If not here, the Golden Star on 112 in Medford. Definitely great food.

During this difficult time, they still open, serve the community for over 20 years, the owner is good guy, so nice, we like this place.

I ordered the food and picked it up expecting to pay between $16-$17 dollars as reflected in the online menu. I was shocked when the bill came to over $22. When I asked about the discrepancy I was told that they didn't pay the computer company to change the prices for years.

Good Wok Restaurant prepares delicious and flavorful food. Customer service was great. The restaurant was very clean with an excellent atmosphere. My order to go was at a perfect temperature when it was ready to be picked up and was prepared perfectly. I reccomend Good Wok Restaurant to everyone that would like to enjoy a wonderful and tasty meal.

This spot knows how to serve their clients. Regularly with a very welcoming mindset. The food is fairly priced, regularly tasty and clean.

Good chinese food. Sometimes like all places you get a bad meal. Service is good except for that one waiter. Anybody who's been here will know who I am talking about.

Wonton soup has no flavor. Broccoli with chicken has no sauce. I order two things and it took them 20-30 minutes to make. They mustve given my order away or something because it looked like the woman was looking for it. One more thing, when someone asks for a little extra sauce, you dont give them four packets. Like come on. My order took forever and there were no customers there. Ridiculous

The Good Wok in Middle Island is a combination of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The menu offers lots of choices, and the food I've had here has always been first-rate. Although the food is (presumably) freshly prepared when ordered, the service is very fast. Although they offer delivery, the Good Wok is NOT a dumpy "take-out" place. The atmosphere is pleasant, with several dining tables and chairs, nice decor and relaxing soft music.

The food here is disgusting. Just moved to the area and ordered shrimp fried rice to test them out and not only was the shrimp not deveined I.e. poop took out but it also had shells in it and the rice was mushy. YUCK! Through it in the garbage. Can only imagine what the sushi is like *insert barf face* If you want to waste your money and be disappointed then order here.

I loved this place. Loved it. Good drinks, very nice staff, good food. Until it gave me food poisoning. I liked this place so much that I even gave it another shot after awhile. Maybe it was a fluke everyone has a bad day right? Wrong. Food poisoning. Two times. Never again.

Did not get any noodles and duck sauce even after asking for it, soda was flat (again) table was dirty. My napkin was stuck to the table. Waitress sat across from us as we ate watching us the entire time. Food was average. Nothing to write home about. Probably will not be going back ever again.

We were somewhat satisfied with this restaurant until tonight. They don't have the best food but always delivered quickly and were open late. Tonight, they messed up half of our order. After it was delivered, I called back, to have the woman on the other end of the phone laugh at me. They sent another person out to deliver the food we originally ordered, and the delivery man demanded a tip off of my fiancé, and then, asked for the food we had originally received. Further, he opened the container and counted the food we gave back to him on our front porch. I hope no one gets pork dumplings tonight because they've already been opened...

The food is usually good.
